Do you know what it takes to cook for 500 guests?
We have an exceptional team of cooks, waiters/waitresses, dishwashers, and various volunteers who make it possible to feed over 500+ people in a single night.
A typical event day starts around 5:30 AM when the cooks begin preparing all the food. Preparing such a large quantity of food is no easy task. They prepare 80 pounds of pasta, over 1,000 rolls, 10 pounds of cheese, 16 pounds of mortadella, and hundreds of pounds of meat. It’s a massive production. Incredible teamwork is required; everyone works together to set tables, clean up, and do everything in between.
Without the collective effort and teamwork of everyone involved, we wouldn’t be able to regularly host these dinners. A huge Grazie Mille to everyone who contributes to our dinners and continues the Colombo Club tradition.
