Ciao a tutti, February asked a lot of us. We gathered to honor Rich Puppione, and while it was difficult, it was also a beautiful reminder of the kind of man he was—and how much he meant to this club. Thank you for showing up with your prayers, your
presence, and your love for Rich and his family.
On a brighter note, our front bar received a wonderful facelift. A special thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, and to
the Vittoria family for organizing it all.

All of February’s events were a huge success. All three crab feeds sold out, and our birthday dinners were well attended. Thank you
for coming out and supporting the club!
March will be a full month as well. Besides our famous Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner (a nod to our Irish friends), we’ll take
any opportunity to celebrate and enjoy great food together. This year, the Women’s Auxiliary is adding a special treat: Irish dancers
at their family event. Personally, I think we ought to celebrate St. Joseph’s Day too–but I was outvoted!
We’re also trying something new: a Surf and Turf dinner. Seating will be limited, so please reserve early. I can’t wait to see you at
one–or more–of these events!
Speaking of participation, here are a few ways you can help out around the club:
• Attend a work party (lunch provided!)
• Volunteer to help sell incentive tickets
• Donate a prize to our incentive program
• Help run prizes to the lucky winners
• Recruit and sponsor a new member for the club
Any of these make a huge difference to our club. I also have a special request: we now have a new coffee bar in the
ballroom, and I’m looking for one or two volunteers to staff it after dinners. If you’re interested, please email me.
Our annual membership dues are now due. These funds are critical to the operation of the club. It’s easy to pay your dues online
at www.thecolomboclub.com. Thank you for your continued membership and support! If you have a friend who would enjoy being a member of the Colombo Club, please consider sponsoring them—membership applications are available at the club bar and
on our website.
